Dan Gabel

DAN GABEL
Bandleader, Trombonist, Arranger, Clinician

Hailed as “the champion of Big Band music and vintage jazz” by the Syncopated Times, Dan Gabel brings a wealth of experience and true passion to everything he does. In addition to leading his own successful groups, Gabel is a first-call musician with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, and has toured 48 U.S. states, and extensively in Canada and Japan. As an educator, he taught High School full time for 7 years and now serves as Professor at Westfield University, as well as a frequent clinician for school and collegiate festivals. His arrangements have been featured around the world and on several critically-acclaimed recordings.
