DAN GABEL
Bandleader, Trombonist, Arranger, Clinician

Hailed as “the champion of Big Band music and vintage jazz” by the Syncopated Times, Dan Gabel brings a wealth of experience and true passion to everything he does. In addition to leading his own successful groups, Gabel is a first-call musician with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, and has toured 48 U.S. states, and extensively in Canada and Japan. As an educator, he taught High School full time for 7 years and now serves as Professor at Westfield University, as well as a frequent clinician for school and collegiate festivals. His arrangements have been featured around the world and on several critically-acclaimed recordings.

KIMBERLY HAWKEY
Award-winning vocalist

Kimberly Hawkey, a multi-talented vocalist, seamlessly blends jazz, Broadway, and folk influences to create a captivating and timeless sound. Her cinematic voice has earned her critical acclaim, including the Johnny Mercer Award and a Gold Medal at the American Traditions Vocal Competition in Savannah GA. 

A versatile performer, Kimberly has graced iconic stages like Birdland, Zinc Bar, and the Iridium, both as a solo artist and with renowned ensembles such as the Glenn Miller Orchestra and the New York All-Star Big Band.

Beyond her performing career, Kimberly is a passionate educator and mentor. With over 15 years of experience, she has helped countless singers develop their craft through lessons, workshops, and masterclasses. Her signature "Visionary Vocalist" series provides a holistic approach to performance, guiding students to uncover their authentic voices and achieve their full potential.

With her dynamic stage presence and playful throwbacks, Kimberly continues to captivate audiences and inspire future generations of musicians.
